Historical buildings are gaining a new life at Zeytinburnu Istanbul Apartments Project

The presence of historical buildings empower the region with a heritage, and will transform spaces that have remained closed for 100 years as living spaces again.

-Water tower
The factory chimney that is used as water tower today was built in 1845 as steam chimney for the production workshops that made use of steam power. The certified building will be displayed as a cultural heritage that highlights one of the entrances of the project, in line with the restoration project.

-Turkish bath
The Turkish bath that was built in the 19th century as a part of the industrial and service buildings is an example of modest Turkish baths with its simple design. The building will be preserved in accordance to its restoration project, and will be put into use with a new function as a luxurious restaurant.

-Armored vehicle repair-shop
At the center of the Imperial Zeytinburnu Factory, Today, the factory will serve commercial functions, hosting cafés, restaurants and exhibitions.

-Workshops and warehouses
The main section of workshops and warehouses is believed to be the Mauser rifle factory whose construction was completed in 1902. In our project, the loft units of the current building will function as home-offices while the integrated wide area will be used for commercial functions.
